Fethiye is located in the South – West Mediterranean Turkey. One is at a loss for words to describe the beauty of Fethiye. The resort town of Fethiye has an impressive marina and overlooks a beautiful bay strewn with colorful islands. 

Above the town, called Telmessos in antiquity, numerous Lycian rock tombs, reproducing the facades of ancient buildings, were cut into the cliff face . Explore the Belcegiz Bay and the beautiful Blue Lagoon ( Olu Deniz) where the calm, crystal-clear water is ideal for swimming. The resort of Çaliş Beach located 2.5 miles to the North of Fethiye is a major shopping place and recreation center of the province which have many hotels, restaurants and terrace bars that line the beach front. Çaliş is also becomimg more and more popular for foreigners to live due to its beach with its long sea shores and sparkling sea which opens up to the open bay where activities include  windsurfing, waterskiing and scuba diving. Water Taxis are available and run every 20 minutes during the summer to Fethiye. Passengers can enjoy a ralaxing journey through the reed beds of the cane which eventually opens up into Fethiye Bay and if you are lucky you might even catch a glimpse of  the Turtles which come to Çaliş beach to lay their eggs and even more delightful the dolphins at play .
